Leaving Chicago

We are getting on the plane and leaving Chicago in a few minutes
I found and electric plug just off the main H gate fairway
I'm ready to be home
Ramsey found a 24 oz RockStar Energy drink with a screw on top
damn that thing gives me a head ache just looking at it

Fishing

We did get a little bit of fishing in on Saturday afternoon
We went over to a family friends house and threw some lures in the pond
I pulled in an OK sized large mouthed bass
Ramsey was at it much longer than I was and pulled in 5 or 6, including the prize catch of the day, pictured below

The water is too warm to eat them, but it was fun

Our trip to Colchester

We left at 2:30 am on Thursday
It was a shuttle ride to the airport to grab a 6am flight to Chicago's O'Hare Airport
Too early
I grabbed some sleep before we left, was way to rushed trying to get out the door and we were off.
The plan, fly to Chicago, wait a couple hours, fly to Moline, grab the rental car and drive down to Colchester Illinois for Labor Day Weekend.
My first mobile blog was from the shuttle. We drove around some appartments in Lakewood looking for the other people who would share the shuttle with us.
We got to the airport about 4:15
We got coffee at the airport, boarded our plan and I was a sleep before we took off.
I slept a couple hours, we landed in Chicago and grabbed some food and drinks in the airport.
The flight from Chicago to Moline was short and sweet
We found our rental car, figured out how to go south on 67 and drove to Colchester/Macomb.

Corn, lots of corn.
